Frequently Asked Question

Where Can I Download Microsoft Office?
Last Updated 10 years ago

As either a student or faculty / staff member, you have the option to purchase Microsoft Office through either a download or mailed-out discs. Microsoft Office is free for students and $15.10 for faculty and staff members. To make the purchase, please visit:

Make sure you are selected on the correct role, 'Students' or 'Faculty/Staff' (which defaults to 'Students'). Select the software you would like to request. Click the button to add the software to your cart. If you have not used this service before, you will need to register for an account by clicking the 'Register' button.

On the page that comes up, select the 'I have an institution issued email address' option and continue. You will need to register with your WSU e-mail address, not your personal address. After doing so, go into your WSU e-mail and activate your account. Then you will be able to proceed with your download.

If you have issues with creating your account, downloading the software, or installation problems, please contact the Academic Technology Services Support Desk (formerly the IT Helpdesk) at (413) 572-5528 if you are a student, or (413) 572-5300 x4357 if you are faculty or staff.
