If you are using the Plato login option (not SSO):

Each semester your Plato password will be reset back to your A# (aka CWID, or Campus Wide ID) with a capital A.

For security purposes, it is important to change your password when you access your account.
Click on your name on the left sidebar. 

On the page that opens up, click on Change Password. 

A panel on the right side will open up, and you will put in your old password, and then your new password twice. Be sure to click SAVE at the bottom to save your changes. Then click the X on the top to close the panel.
